What does it take before an industry or business chooses a nonprofit for support? Well, Armstrong World Industries asked some questions. Are you a registered 501(c)(3) with the IRS? (yes) Can you send me proof of that designation? (yes) What is your mission statement; Who do you serve and why do you serve them? Who are the members of your organization? Our answer follows:
Child Guardians, Inc. is an all-volunteer* nonprofit, 501(c)(3) raising funds to meet the needs of children (ages 0-18) who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned.
All of “our kids” have been separated from their parents. Some live in foster care homes with foster parents, others live in shelters, or with family members/guardians. Child Guardian kids are just like every other kid – They want to participate in everything the other kids do. They want to look like the other kids. T
